Robert Bean Epps, known as "Stringbean", formed The Bean Brothers in East St. Louis, Illinois in 1964.

Their careers caught fire in Las Vegas, performing with the Larry Steele Revue.  They have worked with various artists throughout the years including Albert King, Ike and Tina Turner,

The Bean Brothers first hit "Shing A Ling" followed by "Hey There" exploded onto the charts in 1967.  Their next hit record "We Can't Make It Together", hit the charts in 1973.

In 1982 The Bean Brothers had yet another number one record titled "I'm Glad I'm Me".

The Bean Brothers have enjoyed worldwide success, from Tokyo to Chicago, entertaining steadily through the years.  They are still as in demand today, as they were when it all began with the great blues artist Junior Wells.

This dynamite group has SOUL, HIGH ENERGY, and FIRE!  These hard-working professionals continue to give the audience it's money worth and more!
